After a few days of inclement weather, which included a light early season snowfall, Saturday dawned fine and clear with only a gentle southerly keeping things cool. Sixteen arrived at the Sunrise car park to find it nearly full. A new toilet has been installed, surrounded by a picket fence plus a roof over the information panel. The walk up to the hut was uneventful, the bush as usual in this area looking lush after recent rain. There has been maintenance done to the track in several areas, bringing it up to a high standard.
