Christmas Bbq, 3 December
Tramping Guide Opportunity

Wednesday 22 November Tramp Info.
On Wednesday 22nd Nov we are Tramping from Eland Station on SH5 to Trellinoe Gardens.

Dennis Mitchell has got approval from the various landowners. As per last time the route will begin at Eland, cross Rob Mitchells farm, into the forest, into the Otakowhai Stream, exiting into Trelinnoe and finishing up at the Trelinnoe Gardens.

It will require relocating vehicles from Eland to Trelinnoe. The Garden Cafe is closed nowadays but we are welcome to use the tables and chairs on the deck there. There is an honesty box for $10 per person if anyone wishes to have a wander through the Gardens, either, those taking vehicles around or others still with time and energy after the walk. The Gardens should be very pretty at this time of year. Names to me please or at the meeting on Thursday.

Christmas Bbq
Sunday 3rd Dec we are having the Club Christmas BBQ at Omatua Girl Guide Lodge in Rissington from 3.00 pm. As usual the Club will provide, meat, bread, and potatoes. Attendees are asked to bring either a Salad type dish or a Dessert to share. You will need your own liquid refreshments, and an outdoor garden chair. Names to me please.
Regards
Kelvin

About us

We are a group of like-minded people who love the great outdoors. We tramp mostly in the Hawke’s Bay province, in remote areas such as the Kaweka and Ruahine Ranges; but we also travel longer distances to new places, for longer walks.

The Napier Tramping Club was established in 1974 and has about 70 members. We belong to the Federated Mountain Clubs of NZ Inc (FMC) and run Saturday, full-weekend and Wednesday tramps, every fortnight.

Interested in joining us?

Enjoy the great outdoors, keep fit and get to know others with similar interests.
