Wilding Pine update
Organiser Graham Leech reports:
We have set our next date as Friday 18 August.
To date, we have 11,338 as our tally. We are making a massive difference – thank you to all the volunteers (adults and students) who have helped.
On this next trip, we are going to clear the three tracks that make lake access easier – the two between the two lakes and the one that comes across the hollows from the south to the larger lake. They are getting quite overgrown in places. While we are at it, we’ll undoubtedly find some more pines to add to our tally.
On the last outing, we spent a brisk day up at The Lakes but, with eight volunteers, we dealt to 1118 pines.
